The Christmas Town Experience
From the moment you arrive at Busch Gardens, the Christmas spirit envelops you! Your journey begins in England where you will enjoy the sights and sounds of a Dickens Style Christmas with carolers and twinkling lights high above lining the Big Ben clock tower. The smell of roasting nuts drifts through the streets where quaint shops and a candy store await. With homemade fudge and peppermint candy canes, there is something for even the most discriminating sweet tooth.
Just beyond England, you will find the world-famous Busch Gardens' Clydesdales in a serene pasture under 300 stars. With Christmas music in the background, experience the peace and serenity of that first Christmas.
As you move deeper into the park you will experience the festivities of a true Irish holiday with upbeat music and classic red and green lights. One of Christmas Town highlights is Santa's Fireside Feast located in Ireland. Enjoy a delicious buffet made by the Elves for you and your family. Here, you will have the pleasure of an interactive dinner with Santa and Mrs. Claus creating special memories for the entire family!
Another Christmas Town favorite is the exclusive penguin exhibit in France. Brought to Busch Gardens Williamsburg just for the Christmas season, crowds gather round to catch a glimpse of their extraordinary lifestyle. The mood is always festive as Busch Gardens illuminates the areas with twinkling lights and authentic snow falling from the sky.
With more than five million lights, Busch Gardens Christmas Town is most beautiful at night. There are several rides designed to offer stunning views of the park including the sky ride which departs Scotland and allows you to look down on the festivities below. What Christmas tradition is complete without a train? Busch Gardens authentic steam engine transports visitors all around the park and offers magnificent views of each country.

Finally, for the ultimate spectacle, climb aboard Nach Tower in Germany where riders are raised more than 240 feet with views not only of the park but also the surrounding countryside and James River. Rather than the usual heart-pounding drop back to the ground, for Christmas, the ride lowers slowly so you can take in the sights.
Many of the park's rides are open for Christmas Town and Busch Gardens traditional Broadway-style shows are transformed for the season into Christmas themed productions including Gloria! And Miracles. For a spectacular celebration of music and lights be sure to watch O Tannenbaum just outside of the German Das Festhaus. With a 50 foot Christmas tree and laser and light show set to music, the whole family will become a part of the celebration!
For Busch Gardens Christmas Town the park opens at 3 pm each day. Click here to view our Williamsburg Vacations Tickets for more information on Busch Gardens tickets and packages.
